Obituary for Albert John Koerner
Albert John Koerner, age 87, died this morning at his home in Altus following a long illness.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church of Altus with the Reverend Ed Brenegor officiating assisted by Reverend Dean Robertson. Burial will be at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
He was born December 6, 1898 at New Salem, ND. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He married Dell Dunn November 27, 1953 at Tuttle, OK.
Survivors include: his wife, Dell Koerner of the home; one son, Eugene Koerner of Grante, NM; one daughter, Dorothy LaValley of Irving, TX; one grandchild; several nieces and nephews; three brothers, Ed Koerner of Minco, OK, George Koerner of Oklahoma City, OK and Ted Koerner of California; two step-children, Lorene Morris of Santz Cruz, CA and Charlotte Felton of San Jose, CA; sister-in-law, Francis Koerner of Omaha, NE.
