Obituary for Albert James Riley
Funeral services for Mr. A. J. "Bert" Riley, age 77, of Blair, have been set for 4:00 P.M., Tuesday at the House of Prayer Church in Blair with Jack Collins officiating. Burial will be in Lone Wolf Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Mr. Riley died at approximately 8:45 P.M., Saturday of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Riley had been plowing, passing motorists noticed that the tractor was turning in small circles. They stopped at the roadside and investigated finding that Mr. Riley had apparently suffered a heart attack and died suddenly, one foot being caught in such a manner as to prevent his falling from the tractor. He was breaking wheat stubble at the time with a double mold-board. He had lived and farmed northeast of Blair since 1950. Born March 19th, 1892 in Tussie, OK, he married the former Bessie Wright in September of 1912.

Survivors include: his wife of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Agnes McDoniel of Blair; one son, Owen Riley of Hurley, NM; one brother, Charles Riley of Olivehurst, CA; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
