Adele ( Mrs. Charles P. ) Stropus
Adele Stropus was born December 17,1920 in Loling, Texas. She left this world on November 25th, 1967at the age of 46 years, 11 months and 8 days of age. She died at Willford Hall USAF Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Adele marries Charles P. Stropus on May 10, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas. They have lived in the Altus area since 1961.

Adele is survived by her husband of the home in Altus, Oklahoma. two daughters: Linda and Gloria of the home; two sons, Charles Jr. of Altus and Alfred Alaniz of Eagle Lake , Texas. Also surviving are two brothers; John and Victor Valdez, three sisters: Delfina Cordova, Frances Lira, Clotilde Ortiz, several Nieces and nephews.

Services for Mrs. Stropus are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 27, 1967 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
