Obituary for Ada Marie Montgomery
Ada Marie Montgomery, age 85, the daughter of John and Nannie Belle (Whicker) Leonard, was born July 16th, 1909, Northwest of Duke, Oklahoma. She was a lifetime resident of the Duke and Mangum areas.

Mrs. Montgomery passed away Saturday, August 27th, 1994, in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 1994 in the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Ardron Hinton and Bill Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Mangum, OK under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home in Altus.

On July 9, 1927, she and Ed Montgomery were united in marriage at Duke, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Thomas Street Church of Christ in Altus, OK.

Survivors include: seven children, Patricia Mooneyham of Austin, TX, Phyllis Graumann and husband August of Big Spring, TX, Dale Montgomery and wife Marietta of Altus, OK, Sherry Blackwell and husband Don of Carson City, NV, Carroll Montgomery and wife Delores of Wichita Falls, TX, Gary Montgomery and wife Joyce of Altus, OK and Neil Montgomery and wife Rhonda of Duke, OK; two brothers, Wilbur Leonard of Mangum, OK and Archie Leonard of Duke, OK; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Ed Montgomery; son, Nathan Brent Montgomery; grandson, Micah Shane Montgomery; two brothers, Carl and Cecil Leonard; two sisters, Minerva Williams and Evelyn Leonard.
