Jean was very, very near and dear to me during all my growing up years in Mangum. She was one of my mother's closest friends. She was a wonderful mentor, Sub Deb sponsor, friend, and a great gal filled with humor. I am also one she inspired to enter the medical profession. Mother and Jean worked together in Dr. Fried's office in the early 50's. I always followed and admired her career. I love Jean with my whole heart and feel such sadness at the loss of another of our Greatest Generation. I regret that I will be unable to attend the service but I hold you all in my heart and prayer.

Jean was such a nice person. She was so kind to me when I was in school and wondering what I was going to be when I grew up. :) She allowed me to shadow her at work for a week. She was such a comforting person. She will be missed.
